Day 1

We will leave Salta city at 09:00 AM. After 2 hours driving, we will pull over right at the beginning of the National Park Los Cardones at 3348m above sea level and we will start a short hiking of 2 hours if the weather conditions are good. In this hike, we will have the chance to see condors flying with the thermal winds carrying up those huges birds. After that, we will return to the vehicle to have a lunch box like a picnic in the wild.
Once in the vehicle, and after lunch we will continue our way to a small town of Cachi where we will spend the night at the local hotel.

Day 2

We will continue our trip in a 4x4 vehicle along Route 40 to the south of the valley. We will go through another charming town called Secantas in order to get to the natural pond of Brealito at 2700m.
We will walk 4/5 hours around the fantastic lake which is surrounded by mountains, huge rocks and cactus; then, we will be back in the truck to drive into the towns of San Carlos and Cafayate, crossing the amazing Quebrada de Las Flechas (Arrows gorge). In Cafayate, we will stay at a city hotel.

Day 3

In Cafayate, is possible to visit a winery and the interesting museum in the city, and ten we will go driving through Quebrada del Rio Las Conchas on a paved road that still offers many places to pull over and we will be able to take great shots of the strange rock formations and multicolored mountains. On the way, we will stop to hike 45' to the nice location named "the starts" and then back to the vehicle.

 Then we will get to the big valley again where Salta city is located, getting around 5:00 PM
